A Brewmaster Dinner: A collaboration with Narrative Fermentations Brewmaster Jon Berkland & Chef/Owner of Braise Chef Anthony "AJ" Jimenez!

  • Braise Restuarant's focus is LOCAL. Their kitchen works with local farms and creameries to bring the freshest and most delicious offerings to all our guests. Their selection of small and shared plates encourage a communal experience as well as a sampling of constantly rotating menu with every visit. Beyond that, their select main courses give our solo diners - or groups with a big appetite - an easy but pleasurable experience.

  • Narrative Fermentations–a San Jose based brewery–is the culmination of years of brewing and dreaming for two longtime friends: Jon Berkland & John Phelan. After some late-night drinking sessions, John convinced Jon to brew a batch of beer with him. That was all it took. After 8 years of brewing, they’ve finally opened their own brewery! 

  • Five Points Craft Cocktail Bar is one of downtown San Jose's most popular craft cocktail bars. All of the flavors, ingredients & ideas behind both our food & drink menus are firmly rooted & inspired by the legendary Five Points, New York. Five Points will provide all other libations for the night.

  • guava habit - hazy ipa - 7.3%

FIRST COURSE

  • TASSO HAM, avocado, sourdough, fermented pineapple

  • donatelli - italian style pilsner - 4.6%

SECOND COURSE

  • STUFFED DELICATA SQUASH, farro verde, pomegranate, buttermilk-creamed onions

  • woodchoppers - hopply blonde ale - 5.5%

THIRD COURSE

  • BRAISED PORK CHEEK ADOBO, cilantro, griddled masa cakes

  • citra is my vice - hazy dipa - 8.8%

FOURTH COURSE

  • FRENCH TOAST, bananas, caramel, creme fraiche

  • chaos & caffeine - imperial milk porter with vertigo coffee & madagascar vanilla beans - 8%
